Barista

Paisley Park is searching for part-time barista to provide guests who visit the NPG Music Club with professional and friendly service.
You will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee, other beverages, and refreshments inside the legendary NPG Music Club at Paisley Park.
Chanhassen, Minnesota
20+ hours per week. Weekend availability mandatory
Responsibilities
- Greet and engage with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Speaking and interacting with new and regular customers
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverage items, including coffee, teas, desserts, and light meals
- Provide well-crafted and beautifully presented beverages
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work environment
- Follow and maintain health and safety guidelines
- Regularly stock coffee bar and kitchen
- Taking guest orders and receiving payment
- Following operational policies and procedures
- Being punctual and maintaining regular and consistent attendance
- Ability to work flexible hours and shift may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a high-speed, busy work environment
- Contributing to a positive work environment
Skills
- 2+ years in customer service and barista / restaurant experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Polite and engaging personality
- Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to well under pressure, multitask, and attention to detail
- Cash management
- Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparations
- Ability to meet physical requirements of job, including using hands and wrists, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Have or be able to obtain certification as a Food Protection Manager from the Minnesota Department of Health
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements :
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
- Prior café or coffee shop experience
- Familiarity with telephone, office, and point-of-sale software
