Job Details
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment in our facility.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will be required to perform predictive and preventative maintenance on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing / Food Based environment and possess a strong mechanical knowledge.
Responsibilities :
Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance to avoid breakdowns
and downtime.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems with machinery and equipment, and repair or replace defective parts as necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to develop and implement maintenance strategies that will improve the overall efficiency and
reliability of our equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment manuals.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
Qualifications :
- At least 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing / Food Based environment, with a strong mechanical knowledge.
- Experience with predictive and preventative maintenance techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems with machinery and equipment.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergency repairs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or apprenticeship training preferred.
