Our dynamic and fast-paced healthcare organization is seeking a passionate and dedicated Permanent Associate Veterinarian to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a diverse and rewarding environment where you can make a difference in the lives of animals and their owners. You will work alongside a team of highly skilled and dedicated professionals who are committed to providing the highest level of veterinary care. Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Associate Veterinarian, your primary responsibilities will include :

1. Providing comprehensive medical and surgical care to a wide variety of animals, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and emergency care.

2. Diagnosing and treating a wide range of health conditions, diseases, and injuries in animals.

3. Performing surgical procedures, including spaying / neutering, dental surgeries, and other necessary operations.

4. Collaborating with the veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for animals.

5. Educating pet owners on the proper care and treatment of their pets, including dietary recommendations, preventative care, and post-operative care.

6. Participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay current on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.

Qualifications :

The successful candidate for the Permanent Associate Veterinarian position will possess the following qualifications :

1. A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Associate Veterinarian or a similar role.

3. A valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the state.

4. Strong surgical and diagnostic skills, with experience in a wide range of surgical procedures.

5. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex medical conditions and treatments to pet owners.

6. A strong commitment to animal welfare and a passion for providing the highest level of care to animals.

7. The ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently when necessary.

8. The flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
