Applications Engineer

As an Applications Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of implementing these advanced technologies, providing expert training, conducting application studies, and offering invaluable sales support.
Key Responsibilities :
- Technical Support : Collaborate closely with the sales team, offering pre-sale technical support through detailed time studies and process simulations, empowering them to provide tailored solutions to our customers.
- Solution Implementation : Drive turnkey projects by recommending and implementing solutions, working closely with vendors to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Engagement : Engage directly with customers during pre-sale visits, fostering open communication, and providing post-sale support, including training on equipment operation and programming.
- Continuous Improvement : Stay abreast of industry advancements, continually updating knowledge of tools, equipment, and methodologies to provide best-in-class service to our customers.
- Safety and Compliance : Demonstrate a commitment to safety awareness and compliance while performing assigned responsibilities, ensuring a secure working environment for all stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Technical Proficiency : Proficient in GD&T, CAD, CMMs, VMMs, CT X-ray, and Dimensional Metrology, with experience in programming language and macros.
- Problem-solving Skills : Ability to create time studies, conduct process simulations, and recommend solutions based on customer needs and documentation.
- Collaborative Mindset : Thrive in a collaborative environment, interacting positively and professionally with colleagues, customers, and vendors to achieve common goals.
- Detail Orientation : Possess a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks, with a commitment to meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
Minimum Requirements :
- Experience : Previous experience in a 3D Spatial Awareness environment, with a strong understanding of programming language and macros.
- Travel : Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites, including potential overnight projects, with a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
