Job Description :
As a Deli Clerk at Costco, you will be responsible for preparing, packaging, and labeling deli products. You will provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their deli orders and ensuring that the deli area is clean and well-stocked.
Your role is critical in maintaining the quality and availability of deli products for customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare, package, and label deli products.
- Slice meats and cheeses according to customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized deli area.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Assist with stocking and replenishing deli supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to meet deli production targets.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous deli or food service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
