Mid-Level Architect / Architectural Designer (Remote, Part-time Contract)

Intentional Architecture is seeking a talented Architect or Architectural Designer to join our team on a contract basis. We specialize in creating meaningful, sustainable spaces that reflect the unique needs of our clients.

Our office is based in Boulder, CO , and while we prefer a candidate in the Boulder / Denver area, we are open to other locations depending on qualifications.

Responsibilities :

As part of our team, you will :

• Develop and produce architectural drawings, plans, and construction documents using Revit.
• Collaborate with senior architects and project managers on the design and execution of projects.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and client requirements.
• Conduct site analysis and prepare reports on architectural design factors such as space planning, structural systems, and materials.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Participate in the review of shop drawings, product submittals, and samples.
• Manage and meet project deadlines and budgets.

Qualifications :

• Professional Degree in Architecture (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Extensive understanding of Revit, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite .
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction processes.
• Technical understanding of construction detailing and architectural drawing standards.
• Experience with all phases of residential design .
• Knowledge of Building Codes .
• Knowledge of Sustainable Construction Practices
• 5+ years of relevant experience as an architect or architectural designer.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in residential projects is preferred.
