About the role :
The (FSS) Field Service Support Technician provides on-site maintenance for our customers’ equipment. Responsibilities :
- Installing and testing equipment
- Troubleshooting issues, and making repairs
- Responding to user needs and ensuring the optimal running of all systems
- Load and unload shipments for all incoming and outgoing orders with use of pallet jack or hand truck
- Scan and upload data regarding incoming shipments
- Install applications / Setup Wi-Fi profiles
- Troubleshoot basic computer hardware and software applications by repairing or replacement
- Travel to outside locations for IT customer service
- Reference point for all related queries.
Candidate requirements :
- Minimum of 18 years of age with a High School diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass full background check and drug screening
- Ability to install equipment, diagnose problems, and make repairs
- Strong time-management skills and ability to stick to a tight schedule
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a knack for troubleshooting technical issues
- Reliable vehicle and up to date vehicle insurance, able to travel to outside locations for IT customer service
- Knowledgeable in computer technologies (Windows / Apple / Chrome etc.)
- Knowledgeable in Wired and Wireless networks
- Microsoft Office skills (Word / PowerPoint / Access / Excel)
- Good Verbal Communication and writing skills
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
