Departmental Overview

Primary Care Clinic in Moore needs an outstanding, patient friendly Medical Assistant for the office. Norman Regional Primary Care is built for healing with a focus on high quality, comprehensive preventative care.

NRHS is in the process of a transformational expansion project that will prioritize outpatient care with a continued focus on population health across the region.

Job Summary

  • Provides care to patients of all ages and assistance to physicians and advanced practitioners in the NRHS physician office networks.
  • This position is for our Advanced Team Care model in Primary Care.

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of an accredited program in Medical Assistant Training or equivalent experience preferred

Experience

  • Medical office experience preferred, but not required.
  • Priority on providing excellent patient care.
  • Must be comfortable communicating with patients and other medical staff.
  • Must like working in a busy fast paced environment, have excellent attention to detail, and comfortable with technology including computers, faxes and phones.

Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)

Licensure / Certification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.
  • CMA or RMA preferred.

Compensation / Benefits

  • $13.74-$22.44 / hr depending on previous work experience.
