Accounting Operations Associate
Accounting Operations are responsible for optimizing the efficiency and regulatory compliance of the company’s financial systems, processes, and reporting.
An Accounting Operations Associate is a seasoned individual contributor, providing experienced, independent operational support.
Job Profile Description
- Helps senior team members to provide data and information for the preparation of strategic documents such as Project Business cases, Assessments, Communication plans, and detailed project plans to be used within team.
- Assists in analysis of data specific to work performed by the department when required, to work toward project completion.
- Supports the production users in their daily work to aid as an additional resource.
- Observes and is involved in team projects as assigned to provide input to the project structure.
- Enters issues and tasks to be completed by team and follows up with responsible individuals; escalates issues when appropriate.
- Accounts Payable / Receivable and General accounting entries
- Reconciliation duties
- Miscellaneous banking duties- Transfers, ACH and Wire processing
Skills needed for temp
- AP / AR experience helpful
- Great Plains Accounting Software experience beneficial
- Intermediate Excel- willing to learn and comfortable with formulas
- Strong math proficiency
- Open to a variety of duties
- Analytically minded
