What You’ll Do :
As a Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine , you will :
- Lead kitchen operations with a focus on consistency, quality, and creativity.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and restaurant leadership to develop and execute seasonal, ingredient-driven menus.
- Mentor and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive, team-oriented culture.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organization.
- Play a key role in menu development, sourcing local ingredients, and elevating the dining experience.
- Manage inventory, cost control, and kitchen budgets to ensure profitability while maintaining exceptional quality.
- What We’re Looking For : Experience : Proven track record in high-volume, high-quality kitchens. Experience in New York City’s competitive dining scene is a plus.
- Leadership : Strong management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team.
- Creativity : Passion for seasonal, local ingredients and innovative menu concepts.
- Culinary Skills : Expertise in a wide range of cooking techniques, with a commitment to delivering excellence on every plate.
