About Our Client
Our client is a major metal fabrication organization that has been around for 40+ years. They are a custom manufacturer that specializes in creating custom solutions for a wide range of industries.
Most recently, their largest customer base has come from the aerospace industry. They work with large, global brands and are rapidly expanding their headcount to tackle recent growth.
The team does all of their manufacturing in house, specifically sheet metal, welding, wiring, powder coating, and machining.
Job Description
- Manage 20 direct reports of production staff
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, seeking ways to be more efficient and optimize cost savings opportunities
- Utilize background in metal fabrication (welding, robotic welding, sheet metal fabrication) to troubleshoot production issues on the floor
- Identify production problems and present creative solutions to Senior Leadership
- Handle P&L responsibilities, be an active part of the leadership strategy team
- Hand's On Role - lead by example
- Troubleshoot machinery programming - do not need to be an expert.
- Communicate with customers and regularly perform DFMA

The Successful Applicant
- 7+ years' Experience in a metal fabrication environment (Welding, Sheet Metal)
- 5+ Years of Leadership Experience (Experience of over 20 direct reports highly preferred)
- Associates Degree or Higher Required
- Extensive experience with SolidWorks
- Desire to work hands-on on the manufacturing floor
- Experience with fixture design, Jig creation, and DFMA
- GD&T Experience

- Base Salary of $80,000 - $100,000, depending on experience
