Job Description

Key Duties

  • Provides strategic counsel and hands on support to the CEO, advising on strategy, day-to-day operations, offering guidance on sensitive matters, and ensuring leadership has the necessary information to make informed decisions.
  • Promotes and supports the mission, vision, and strategic goals of the team, providing guidance and leadership on strategic planning, policy development, and decision making.
  • Designs and implements policies, procedures, and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepares and contributes to research, preparation, and execution of reports, briefings, presentations on strategic initiatives and other materials as appropriate.
  • Provides leadership and project management support of key strategic initiatives prioritized by the CEO.
  • Serves as liaison to the communications team, ensuring internal and external messaging on activities, programs, and initiatives are accurate, timely, and impact to the Charleston Division.
  • Advises on the strategic direction of Charleston Division initiatives -people, service, quality, growth and innovation.
  • Builds and nurtures internal and external relationships to serve as a resource for the CEO and point of contact for programs, partners, and other collaborators to help resolve complex issues and move strategic priorities and projects forward.
  • Monitors, analyzes and reports on the progress of the impact for the special projects that they lead.
  • Will partner with the Charleston Division C-suite leader to help supervise the administrative support staff within the office of the CEO Charleston Division including standardization, KPls, performance reviews, oversight of the annual operational budget, and ensuring resources are used appropriately to support the team.

Additional Job Description

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Minimum of 5 years healthcare experience with 1-2 years in project management.

Preferred Qualifications :

Knowledge of, or experience with, integrated healthcare delivery system, academic medical center and community medical center or similar healthcare related environment.

Master’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or similar field preferred but not required.
