About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locums OBGYN Physician to join our team in Sterling, Kentucky. This role involves providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care at a small rural facility with a Level I nursery.
The facility is equipped with one triage room, two labor rooms, one c-section suite, and six postpartum rooms, ensuring a supportive environment for both patient care and physician practice.
In this role, you will manage and triage patients over 20 weeks gestation who present with OB complaints, perform both vaginal and cesarean deliveries in a rural hospital setting, and address GYN cases that present to the Emergency Department.
Additionally, you will handle an average of 18-20 deliveries per month and manage approximately 45 triage patients per month.
Schedule : This position requires 24-hour call coverage from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 AM.
Requirements :
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active DEA License
