As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, your knowledge, interest, and enthusiasm related to aviation will enable you to help your team develop innovative software applications.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Designing, developing, and documenting software to process and store real-time data using a cloud-based, microservice environment
- Writing extensible and scalable code
- Integrating in-house and third-party applications and APIs in a microservice environment
- Examining raw avionics data feeds, networking data, messaging queues, database records, etc.
- Testing and investigating bugs or other application issues
Required Skills and Abilities :
- Proficient in a modern programming language (Python, C++, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively to address problems promptly.
- Ability to work in a small, fast-moving team
- Familiarity with the Agile software development and related tools such as Confluence, Jira, GitHub, or equivalent tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills and Abilities :
- Strong Python and C++ development skills
- Networking knowledge, including familiarity with network analysis tools
- Familiarity developing in Linux
- Familiarity with Docker environments and containerization
- Familiarity with AWS ECS, S3, SQS, Elasticache, etc.
- 5 years of work experience
