Job Description :

KMA is looking for a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to support the work of our professional practice development team.

The tasks include many computerized and telephone activities that feed into our tax and accounting services. Our staff members develop a keen sense of client awareness in service of client needs.

The ideal candidate would be an excellent communicator with the ability to prioritize their work in and independent fashion.

Responsibilities :

  • Client scheduling and assistance.
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, etc.).
  • Support in workflow and document management assistance.
  • Assist with tax filings and deadline administration for clients.
  • Support Accountants and Account Managers / CPAs.
  • Assist with client communications on tax information, status and collections.
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data.
  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary.
  • Facilitate in-office meal programs during busy tax seasons.

Qualifications :

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, office administrator, office assistant, or relevant role.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and similar software.
  • Dependable, team player, and reliable to complete tasks timely.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of clients and staff.
  • Self-motivated and independent, able to prioritize personal workload. Initiate working with little direction.
  • Able to extend work hours during tax season deadlines.
  • Adhere to the firm's values and code of conduct.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with great interpersonal skills.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

This is an in-office position.
