About The Position
- Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Interventional Radiology (IR) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Days + Call - 2x10hr shifts & 2x8hr shifts OR all 8hr shifts;
- 0700-1530 and 0600-1630. Every 3rd weekend on call, every other holiday Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 1 year License : Required to submit Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have : - Moderate sedation experience - Teamwork - Willingness to help out when needed Job Description : Responsible for conscious sedation management autonomously- Charting, circulating, pre-procedure and post-procedure care for IR- Work in a department with 2 labs handling 5-10 cases per day- Experience with inpatient, outpatient, and emergent conditions including Stroke Thrombectomy, Embolizations, Lines, Tubes, Visceral, Para, Thora, Biopsies, drain insertions, and chest tubes- Familiarity with CT and US areas- Use EPIC for EMR and equipment like Philips Xper (Hemo), Siemens C-Arm- Collaborate with the team lead, supervisor, and lead for time card sign-offs- Coordinate with IR techs and support staff - Participate in one week of unit / department-specific orientation with classroom and lab instruction- Engage in team scheduling, posted 17 days in advance for 6 weeks at a time- Meet call response time of 30 minutes- Float to radiology pre / post as required- Follow the provided dress code and use supplied scrubs and lead;
bring personal locker lock and hospital-designated shoes Additional Notes : - All candidates should reside within a 50-mile radius unless stated otherwise- Submit requests for time off (RTO) upfront, not exceeding 7 days for the contract duration - Chart using the EPIC system in an acute care setting within a Level 2 Trauma Care environment
