Robert Half is partnering with a Financial Company, and sourcing for a Trust & Estate Attorney. This role primarily involves handling estate planning cases, with a strong emphasis on irrevocable trusts and decanting or other modification activities.
Responsibilities :
- Handle estate planning cases with a focus on irrevocable trusts
- Perform decanting or other modification activities
- Utilize case management software to maintain and manage client information
- Leverage skills in Adobe Acrobat and Document Management for efficient case handling
- Apply knowledge of civil litigation and claim administration in handling cases
- Utilize briefing skills to present case updates and progress
- Handle customer complaints and inquiries related to estate planning
- Leverage knowledge of consumer electronics in daily operations
- Use '3M' and 'Conveyancer' tools in case management and documentation
- Regularly update customer records and take appropriate action based on account monitoring results
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar and current good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an estate planning attorney with a particular focus on irrevocable trusts.
- Advanced knowledge of the tax implications of estate planning structures.
- Strong experience in decanting, modifying, and distributing trusts is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Exceptional research and problem-solving skills.
