The Clinical Nurse in the Hematology / Oncology department is responsible for assessing, coordinating, planning, directing, implementing, and managing the needs of assigned patients throughout the episode of care with a focus on progress toward discharge.
This includes transitions within the acute care stay. The role involves delivering and coordinating patient care provided by the caregiving team to ensure competent and compassionate care is uniformly provided to customers, including referring facilities, hospital staff, and patients in various settings.
