Requirements / Qualifications
CREDENTIAL : Possession of Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university and eligible for a Substitute Teacher permit.
SALARY : $205 Per Day - $250 Long Term - $225 Credentialed / Retired Teachers - $250 Credentialed / Retired Teachers Long Term - $225 Special Ed - $250 Special Ed Long Term (all pay ranges through 06 / 30 / 2025)
APPLICATION PROCEDURE Applications from qualified candidates are invited. A complete application file consists of :
- A completed certificated EDJOIN application;
- An up-to-date Resume
- Three Professional Letters of Recommendation signed and dated within the last two years (typed signatures will not be allowed)
- Proof of Bachelor's Degree or higher (Unofficial Transcripts for application / Official Transcripts required for onboarding) from an accredited college or university to evaluate if candidate meets Basic Skills Requirement for permit
- Proof of valid credentials held; passing CBEST scores or proof of Basic Skills Requirement for Emergency Permit eligibility is required
