About The Position
Job Title : Surgical TechnologistJob Specialty : Operating Room (OR) TechJob Duration : 13 weeksShift : 8-hour days plus callGuaranteed Hours : 40 hours per weekExperience : Minimum of 2 yearsLicense : Not required for submissionCertifications : Basic Life Support (BLS)Must-Have : Experience with a wide range of surgical proceduresJob Description : - Work in a department with 7 OR suites and 2 Endo suites- Handle common cases involving Adults, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Obstetric, Neurosurgery, ENT, Orthopedic, GYN, General, and Davinci Robotics- Be familiar with varied surgical schedules as specialized teams are not assigned to each service line- Collaborate efficiently with a team known for exceptional camaraderie and commitment to safety- Participate in a rotating holiday call schedule- Be on weeknight call once per week and every 5th or 6th weekend- Flexibly float between Pre / Post-op and ER for trauma cases- Wear provided scrub color / dress code- Undergo one week of OR specific orientation- Contribute to a learning-focused environment through sharing experiences and educating peers
