The Role : As the Front Office Manager, you will be the heartbeat of the office operations. Your leadership will ensure the front office runs seamlessly, from scheduling and payroll management to enforcing HIPAA compliance.
You’ll oversee the creation and management of electronic health records and assist with insurance authorizations and medical billing.
Key Responsibilities : Staff Management : Schedule, oversee, and support front office staff, managing payroll and approving overtime.
Patient Records : Ensure the accurate creation and management of electronic health records. Office Procedures : Continuously update and improve office procedures for efficiency.
Billing Support : Assist with insurance authorizations and medical billing processes. Provider Schedules : Manage provider schedules effectively to optimize patient care.
Compliance : Uphold HIPAA regulations and internal policies rigorously. Reception Duties : Step in to assist with front desk tasks as needed.
Requirements : Educational Background : A Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field is preferred;
an Associate's degree with equivalent experience will also be considered. Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years in a medical office, preferably in a supervisory role, managing a team of 5-10 front office staff.
Proficiency with EMR systems is essential. Skills : Strong organizational abilities, familiarity with medical terminology, and basic computer skills are a must.
