The 6th floor is a38-bed medical surgical / stroke nursing unit that cares for adultto geriatric patients. The nurses manage the care of acute medicalsurgical patients with a wide range of diagnoses and care needs.
Through a interdisciplinary we collaborate to provide excellent,individualized care for our patients. With a goal of a 1 : 5-6 nurseto patient ratio and the assistance of PCTs and other ancillarydepartments, we work to deliver high quality patient centeredcare.

Providenursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizingnursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the carefor patients.
Function within theframework of the policies and procedures of the organization anddemonstrates professional growth and accountability and responsiblefor maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient careactivities of all assigned staff in the provision of qualitynursingcare.
Qualifications : Requirements :
Graduate of a nursingprogram
New graduates of anursing programeligible
Current License inthe State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or
NLC / eNLCMultistate License. BLS certificationrequired.
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS :
- Advancecertification in field of specialty and nursing experience inhospital setting preferred.
- Bachelor's degreepreferred.
