Eclipse Gaming is an award winning provider of entertainment solutions for the casino industry, headquartered in Duluth, GA.
We specialize in making products that target players who have a passion for casino games.
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.
The ideal candidate will have a strong systems administration background and a passion for solving complex technical challenges.
Key responsibilities & duties :
- Configure and install server hardware, network infrastructure, and applications in accordance with company standards and project requirements
- Be detail-oriented and ensure accuracy in compliance with established policies as well as location-specific requirements
- Assist with physical installation at locations as needed (some travel required)
- Monitor and maintain gaming infrastructure
- Monitor equipment status and gameplay daily and respond to issues promptly and professionally
- Provide Tier-2 support for field technicians and assist with troubleshooting field issues and configuration changes
- Review hardware and application logs and provide proactive solutions
- Schedule and apply OS and application updates on a regular basis
- Develop and maintain product and system documentation for gaming equipment, servers, and applications
Required Skills / Abilities :
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service
- Strong critical thinking skills coupled with analytic, and problem-solving abilities
- Thorough understanding of Windows 7 / 10, Windows Server, and Active Directory
- Understanding of Server and Workstation hardware troubleshooting
Desired skills / Abilities :
- Experience with Active Directory and Windows Server user management
- Basic SQL knowledge (executing queries, configuring backup plans)
- Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of audiences to provide troubleshooting and resolve issues
Education & Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related discipline or equivalent work experience a must
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or higher a plus
- Must have 3+ years of experience with Cisco and Sonic WALL and familiarity with basic networking
- Must have 3-5 years of system administration and support experience
Physical Requirements :
- Abiity to lift 25+lbs
- This position requires some travel and hardware installation of servers and gaming machines internally and in the field
