Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Glen Burnie, MD

Ryder Employees who Drive on this account earn $1250 or more Weekly and it gets better

• Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
• Weekly Guarantee $1250 per Week
• Solo Miles Pay : $0.75 per Mile
• Solo Stops Pay : $19.89 per Stop
• Per Diem Pay : $51.75 per night with 3 nights per Month
• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel
• Paid Training
• Schedule : Monday - Friday NO WEEKENDS
• Start Time : 5 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 AM

• Route : Home Daily
• Tractor Type : Day Cab
• Able to accept an automatic restriction
• Trailer Type : 42', 45', and 53' Dry Vans & occasional Straight Trucks
• Equipment : Electric & Manual Pallet Jack, Dolly
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight : Touch - Flooring Material

Equipment includes 24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle :
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures

Important Note : Additional requirements may be required in different locations and / or accounts.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading / Unloading freight or assisting in the loading / unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
