Blue Origin is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rocket Engine Integration / Assembly Manufacturing Engineer II to join our exceptional team.

Responsibilities :

  • Drive the integration and assembly of rocket engine components, ensuring flawless execution throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to develop and implement manufacturing strategies, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing processes and procedures, continuously striving for improvement and optimization.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and tests to ensure compliance with specifications and requirements.
  • Analyze and address challenges that may arise during the manufacturing process, implementing necessary measures for improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing technicians, ensuring efficient and safe operations.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in rocket engine integration and assembly manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing manufacturing processes and procedures in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to strictly adhere to quality standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to determine root causes of issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with teams from different departments.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.

S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $83,070-$116,298

Other site ranges may differ

Benefits

Benefits include : Medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%, and an Education Support Program.

Paid Time Off : Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.

Discretionary bonus : Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
