We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr . Principal Systems Engineer -Component Lead on one of our premier classified programs.
As the Sr. Principal Systems Engineer - Component Lead, you will beresponsible for the component's cost, schedule, and technicalperformance baseline as well as ensuring the component productsintegrate together technically for each delivery.
In this role, youwill also be responsible for the definition, documentation andexecution of component level Systems Engineering, Agile and DevOpsprocesses.
What You Will Do
- You will be responsible for thecomponent's baseline, requirements, architecture and design, andintegration and test activities
- You willleverage modern Agile / DevOps development practices utilizing anagile framework
- You will be responsible forreporting status and estimates to your Agile team leadership(utilizing robust and easy-to-use tools for reporting status)
- You will support small Agile teams in adaptingto evolving problem sets, and support
- Workside by side with Integrated Product Team Leads and the ComponentLeads to successfully manage the teams execution of programspecific tasks
- Participate in prime / customermeetings including technical exchange and working group meetings
- Use excellent verbal and written communicationskills including negotiation skills to communicate status, issuesand resolution plans across all major stakeholders includingRaytheon senior management, customers, and major subcontractors
Qualifications You MustHave
- Typically requires aBachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, orMathematics (STEM) and a minimum 10+ years of prior relevantexperience
- Active Top Secret / SCI SecurityClearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship isrequired, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a SecurityClearance
- Systems Engineering lifecycleexperience
- Experience in Space Command &Control, Mission Management systems, and / or Ground Station systems
- Experience with application lifecyclemanagement tools / platforms such as Jira, Confluence, AzureDevOps, Cameo EA, and / or similar tools
- Experience with the Engineering lifecycleusing Agile concepts and experience in one or more of the followingsystem engineering areas : architecture development, operationsconcept development, functional analysis, interface definition, orintegration, and / or verification & validation
Qualifications WePrefer
- Experience in anAgile or DevOps development environment
- Experience in Systems Engineering processdevelopment and deployment
- Experience workingin an Agile or DevOps development environment, being part of ahighly integrated team working closely with Software, Integrationand Verification teams
- Ability to establishand maintain good working relationship with all levels of theorganization and with the prime and customer and demonstratedwritten and oral communication skills, including presentationskills
- Ability to effectively work andcommunicate with all levels of program and customer management andindividual contributors on the program team

The salary range for this role is 118,000USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faithestimate representative of all experience levels.
