About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Step Down - Cardiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Shift, 12 Hours Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Must have 18 months of experience in the specialty within the past 3 years License : GA or compact license required Certifications : ACLS required Must-Have : Willingness to float as needed, no on-call duties Job Description : The unit operates similarly to an ICU, recognized as an advanced PCU due to patient ratios.
Care for 24-hour post-CABG cardiac surgery patients with chest tubes.- No ventilators, but experience with LVADs is required;
hospital will provide a course.- Patient ratio is either 1 : 4 or 1 : 5.- Required to work every other weekend.- Scrubs are required to be Navy Blue.
Candidates should not be local travelers within a 50-mile radius. Application Process : Virtual interviews to be conducted.
