Description

Responsible for conducting day-to-day management of the laboratory, including research space, tissue culture room, and research equipment.

Provide technical support for all aspects of individual and lab development and overseeing the ordering of research supplies.

Train lab members in safety protocols and proper research techniques and use of equipment. Work closely with the Principal Investigator to oversee the conduction of laboratory activities.

Conduct bench facing experiments related to cancer.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive a research project (collect, analyze and interpret data, and present data at group meetings)
  • Help in the general running of the lab, including : ordering, receiving items, and maintaining lab organization
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Position is dependent in continue grant funding.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
