Financial Analyst

Our Financial Analyst should be adept at working both independently and as part of a team, where extensive communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with program teams and management to ensure all financial proposals align with company goals, delivering competitive and compliant pricing strategies.
• Use independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
• Develop comprehensive financial models and spend plans, ensuring data is cost-effective, reasonable, and realistic.
• Support the preparation of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) submissions and internal financial reporting.
• Coordinate financial activities with subcontractors to ensure their proposals are consistent with program requirements and financial objectives.
• Conduct variance analysis and prepare reports to track financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of 3-10 years of prior financial analysis experience, particularly in budget development, financial reporting, or program control.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel with a firm understanding of advanced formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience contracts with various vehicles, including but not limited to, EXPRESS, GSA OASIS, IAC MAC, RS3, etc.
• Maintains current knowledge of the industry and finance trends.

Desired Skills

• Budgeting and Forecasting : Experience in developing budgets and financial forecasts to guide strategic planning.
• Attention to Detail : Meticulous in ensuring accuracy and precision in financial reporting and analysis.
• Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex financial information clearly.
• Team Collaboration : Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and foster collaborative relationships.
• Software Proficiency : Experience with financial software and Costpoint
• Cost / Pricing Proposal Development : Expertise in developing competitive and compliant cost and pricing proposals that align with project goals.
