The Lot Porter for Oklahoma Trailers Direct is responsible for helping the dealership run smoothly by preparing trailers for sale, maintaining the lot and other tasks as instructed by the General Manager. This includes :

• Mowing, landscaping, keeping the grounds clean and presentable as a retail dealership
• Staging and preparing the trailers for sale
• Checking wheel lugs, lights, tires, and couplings for proper fitting prior to delivery of trailer to customers
• Assisting with unloading trailers
• Maintaining general product knowledge of trailers being offered for sale
• Maintaining cleanliness and order, cleaning of work area, bathrooms and office
• Managing inventory of accessories, parts, tires, hitches, etc.

A qualified applicant for Lot Porter must display integrity, a willingness to work hard by taking the initiative to complete tasks without being directed, and good communication skills. The Lot Porter must have a high school diploma or equivalent, m ust be able to lift up to 75 pounds frequently, and be able to complete manual labor tasks. Forklift or mechanical experience is a plus.
