Rotating shifts can vary between switching between days and nights within the same week and / or working a few weeks of days and then a few weeks of nights. Flexibility is a must.
We have a Medical-Surgical Population with variety of diagnoses. We are the designated unit for Thoracic Surgery & average about 5-10 cases per week.
Our other patients are usually medicine primary; often seeing GI bleeds, pneumonia, liver failure, CHF exacerbations, etc.
We take all thoracic surgery patients, Le Fort patients, and AAA repair patients.
