Environmental Intern
This position will assist facility Environmental Engineer with day-to-day activities that include inspections, data collection and reporting associated with environmental permits and applicable regulations.
In addition, this person will assist Director Environmental Services with special projects that include EHS software improvements and remote support for other Amsted Rail facilities.
The intern session will run May 2024 through August 2024.
Qualifications :
- Majoring in Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work from written or verbal instructions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
