We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Sales Executive with media, SaaS, or related enterprise sales experience to continue the rapid growth of Drug Hunter, our scientific information service for drug discovery professionals.

This individual will be responsible for identifying and managing key growth accounts, player / coach to sales and sales support team as well as support sales efforts with new revenue streams.

You will drive the sales process, partnered with Drug Hunter scientists who will conduct technical demos and answer scientific questions (a scientific background is not required for this role).

This is a unique opportunity to work with research and development institutions and libraries to sell and support strongly adopted products, with significant growth opportunities.

Experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry is a bonus.

This is a full-time, fully remote position based in the United States (Boston, San Diego, San Francisco, NY, NJ), primarily working core business hours in your time zone, adjusting to global time zones as needed.

What you'll do :

  • Work with a customer base of scientists, departmental management, senior pharma / biotech executives, investors, and procurement professionals, as well as internal sales, marketing, product, editorial, and leadership team members.
  • Identify, prioritize, and secure business opportunities in the Biotech and Pharmaceutical industry on a subscription based sales model.

Responsibilities include client relationship management, discovery, demonstration and deal negotiations.

  • Ability and desire to achieve and exceed sales goals
  • Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service
  • Partner with other cross-functional teams on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives
  • Define the overall approach for specific high value accounts, develop work plans, and create compelling sales propositions utilizing internal and external data
  • Identify key stakeholders at new and existing accounts
  • Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends and case studies
  • Be responsible for ensuring clients are properly onboarded and engaging with Drug Hunter’s Premium content showcasing measurable ROI for our potential and current clients
  • Articulate and update clients on Drug Hunters products and developments
  • Represent Drug Hunter as a pharmaceutical industry expert and industry partner
  • Provide feedback from clients to internal team members to support product development and customer service.
  • Will work closely with sales team members such as other Sales Representatives, Sales Coordinators, and / or Account Manager.

Requirements

Knowledge, skills & abilities :

  • Extensive knowledge and comfort with consultative selling, qualifying and identifying decision makers.
  • Proven ability to navigating large complex organizations
  • Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, fast paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Understanding and comfort with managing a high volume of accounts and demonstrated skill in educating others (e.g., clients, colleagues)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage and partner with high level executives and customers across levels
  • Ability to win the support of key stakeholders
  • Creative, outside-the-box thinker, and strategist
  • An excellent team player who can work independently and collaboratively
  • Owner / operator mindset
  • Knowledge of Hubspot CRM
  • Strong organizational skills and desire to continuously learn

Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
  • 5-10+ years within the sales industry and enterprise sales experience in a consultative selling environment. Transferable and preferred industries include : SaaS, Digital Media, or subscription sales business experience preferred
  • Bonus if you’ve worked in the biotech or pharmaceutical sales industry, but a scientific background is not required

Salary Description

$125,000 - $150,000 Base + Commissions, Overage
