Registered Nurse RN Wound Care Nurse
Bushwick Centerfor Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) forour Skilled Nursing Facility located in Brooklyn NY.
The idealcandidate will have exceptional teamwork skills and a pleasantdemeanor!
DutiesInclude :
- Responsible for allopen wounds in the facility including cleaning anddressing
- Responsible for completing admissionpaperwork
- Providing advice & support tothe Residents and their families
- MonitoringResidents and administering medication and treatments
- Documenting Resident care services by charting inResident & dept. records
- ProtectingResidents & staff by adhering to infectioncontrol policies& protocols
- Resolving Resident problems& needs by utilizing multidisciplinary teamstrategies
- Assuring quality of care byadhering to Facility philosophies & standards ofcare
- Maintaining Resident confidence bykeeping information confidential
- Tracking ofinfection control
- Monitoring and reportingincluding monthly reports
Requirements :
- Current NYS State RN License
- LongTerm Care Experience Preferred
- Must be wound and ostomy certified
- Solid computer skills; working knowledge of MSOffice
- Excellent communicationskills
- Friendly and a team worker
