This Software Engineer will analyze current systems / processes, implement solutions, and provide guidance and training to the IT team.

Job Title : Software Engineer
Job Type : Full-time / Direct Hire. This is also an ON-SITE / IN PERSON position ! As such, we require someone local to Erie, PA (or willing to relocate).

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000, depending upon experience

Essential duties for this Software Engineer will include :
- Providing hands on software development / programming support on a day-to-day basis
- Monitoring daily performance of IT systems, including servers, programs, and networks
- Installing new upgrades for hardware and software for server systems in-house and cloud-based systems
- Troubleshooting problems and improving overall efficiency
- Developing data backup systems and disaster recovery contingencies
- Staying up-to-date with new IT developments in the industry
We're aggressively seeking very knowledgeable Software Engineer with the following background profile :
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Those with prior experience in a manufacturing (or adjacent) industry, will be contacted immediately
- 6+ years of demonstrated, skilled experience administering Oracle, My SQL and SQL Server
- 6+ years of hands on experience with JavaScript, HTML / CSS and C# is required; additional knowledge / skill around APEX, OCI and Python desired
- Experience with Agile Methodologies
