Application Security Analyst

A company is looking for an Application Security Analyst who will provide security guidance to application development teams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide application / product security guidance and educate development teams on best practices and automation

Perform application security assessments, threat modeling, and security code reviews for internally developed products

Develop techniques and frameworks to help development teams identify security flaws before production

Required Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, CIS, Software Engineering, or related degree

2-7 years of experience in a security role focused on application security

2 years of experience in a development role, preferably in a Java environment

Experience with assessing application code and familiarity with OWASP & SANS security coding flaws

Advanced understanding of application architecture, authentication, public cloud, and cryptography
