Unlock your potential at Portsmouth Regional Hospital!\nJob Summary and Qualifications\n\nAs a Registered Nurse (RN),you will provide direct nursing care and administrative support to our 23-bed intensive care step-down unit. In this role, you will work closely with the clinical team to create and implement a care plan that meets each patient's needs.   • Your role is to provide direct patient care dedicated to stroke and trauma, including titrating and vasoactive IV-drips.\n
  • You will monitor, record and communicate patient conditions as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.\n
  • On our team, you will manage patients with high risk surgeries as well as ortho and trauma related surgeries.\n
  • You will work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, collaborative environment\n
  • You will instruct and educate patients and family members.\n
  • Coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.\n
  • Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State License\n
  • BLS and ACLS(American Heart Association and / or American Red Cross)\n
  • Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia – (within 3 months from hire)\n
  • PCCN Certification (preferred)\n
  • TNCC Certification (preferred)\n
