Role
Seeking an expert in Senior Test Engineer to join our team. Hands-on and be able to work with Cypress, JS, GitHub Actions, Qase.
io, BDD Testcases, Performance Testing, API / DB.
Responsibilities
- As a seasoned QA resource in project teams, provide expert opinion and guidance on business & quality parameters.
- Demonstrate leadership within project teams to take on additional responsibilities as and when required and encourage cohesion & team building.
- Proactively plan and strategize with the team on possible issues and suggest workable alternatives.
- Assist Project Manager in requirements gathering.
- Devise and align test strategy with respect to software development model Scrum, Kanban, CI / CT, etc.
- Ensure the functional and non-functional requirements of the project are met.
- Deep knowledge of test automation strategies and automation principles.
- Develop test automation framework, and continue to enhance and modify based on project needs.
- Review test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated).
- Ensure that manual and automation test execution are carried out as per the defined standards and procedures.
Requirements
- Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in CS or EE field.
- 7 - 10 years of experience in developing n-tier applications.
- Hands-on and able to work with Cypress, JS, GitHub Actions, Qase.io, BDD Testcases, Performance Testing, API / DB.
- Troubleshoot basic issues with a Linux system and should be comfortable with CLI tools, SSH, etc.
- Ideal if their current test scripts are written in Perl.
- Some bits of TA (test automation) systems are written in Python.
- Good knowledge of Shell Scripting (Bash or equivalent).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in the night shift (12 : 00 PM to 9 : 00 PM).
