Position Overview : We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Director of Nursing to lead a nursing team within a behavioral health facility.
This role involves supervising the nursing management team acting as a liaison between physicians patients and referral sources and preparing monthly reports to support the organization s care philosophy.
The ideal candidate will be a licensed and experienced nursing professional with a background in behavioral or psychiatric health.
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership & Supervision : Oversee the nursing management team ensuring high standards of patient care and adherence to unit policies and the programs philosophy of care.
Liaison Role : Serve as a primary contact and coordinator between physicians patients referral sources and staff to facilitate smooth communication and patient care.
Report Preparation : Compile and present monthly reports providing insights into nursing operations and care quality.
Strategic Support : Support organizational goals and ensure the nursing team aligns with the overall mission of the behavioral health facility.
Requirements
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Licensure :
Current unencumbered nursing license to practice by the State Board of Nursing in Washington.
Experience :
- Prior experience in behavioral health or psychiatric health nursing.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory nursing role.

Qualifications : Education : Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Natural Sciences, or Occupational Safety and Health.
Experience : 5 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS). At least 3 years in Process Safety Management (PSM).
Certifications : Certified PHA Facilitator, Certified ISO 14001 / 45001 Lead Auditor. Technical Knowledge : Knowledgeable in PSM, RMP, OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and ISO 14001 / 45001 standards.
Ability to read and interpret Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). Skilled in creating and delivering employee training on safety topics.
Community Involvement : Ability to represent the company at community meetings, demonstrating strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
