Equipment Delivery Driver - Norfolk, NE
As an equipment delivery driver, you will be responsible for delivering great customer service by the delivery of equipment products to customers and our construction crews.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for prompt equipment delivery.
- Performs daily truck inspections with documentation.
- Filling out DOT and maintenance logs.
- Maintains and services delivery truck to make sure it is in proper working order.
- Follows policies and procedures of HACCP program.
- Helps with the loading of equipment for customers / construction crews.
- Communicates customer complaints to supervisor.
- Provides excellent customer service and customer relations.
- Performs general maintenance of buildings, equipment and vehicles, including necessary documentation.
- Maintains professional appearance and cleanliness of trucks.
- Assists in ensuring that paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
- Comply with current company credit policies.
- Maintains and promotes a safe work environment.
- Assists other divisions and locations as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
There are no supervisory roles with the position
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
1 to 3 years driving experience.Class A CDL and training in OSHA and DOT requirements.Ability to communicate in a professional manner and establish effective working relationships with internal operations and external customers.Good basic mechanical skills.Works in a way that demonstrates safety is a priority.
