Job Description :
We are seeking an enthusiastic Middle Grade Math Teacher to join our team in Calumet City, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging math instruction to middle school students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and supporting students' academic growth and success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement math lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Create a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student achievement.
- Participate in professional development opportunities.
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in Education or Mathematics
- Valid Illinois teaching license with a middle school math endorsement
- Experience teaching middle school students preferred
- Strong knowledge of math curriculum and teaching strategies
- Excellent munication and classroom management skills
