Your opportunity to be a part of an award winning team, advancing your career journey, is now! The incumbent performs assigned nursing procedures, taking vital signs, collecting and processing specimens for analysis, and assisting physicians with examinations and treatments.

Incumbent observes, records and reports the physical and mental condition of patients. Conducts effective patient / family teaching. Documents all patient education. 10% Collects, labels and sends to laboratory for analysis specimens such as sputum and urine.

Appropriately communicates and documents lab results. 10% Assesses and documents the patient's physical and psychosocial condition initially and on an ongoing basis.

Accurately evaluates and documents the patient / family response to care. Documents patient observations / care appropriately in the computer, on the flow sheets, or wherever appropriate.

40% Administers patient treatments or procedures in a safe, effective and age appropriate manner, and in compliance with all policies, protocols, and regulations.

Accurately takes and records vital signs including temperature, pulse, weight, respiratory rate and blood pressure, documenting appropriately.

Administers medications in a safe, effective and age appropriate manner, and in compliance with all policies and regulations.
