An academically affiliated program in Charles County, MD, 30 miles south of Washington DC, is excited to welcome a general gastroenterologist to join their team as they continue to develop their gastroenterology practice.
This is a great opportunity for experienced GI physicians as well as physicians finishing their fellowship. For those that are finishing fellowship, the practice has an experienced GI physician who is excited to mentor gastroenterologists.
Practice Highlights :
- General GI is the focus, but ERCP / EUS would be a huge plus if candidate is still open to doing primarily General GI work
- Call will be 1 : 3, but the call is light. The call ratio will increase as physicians are hired.
- Outstanding benefits and bonus opportunity (RVU + Quality bonus incentives)
- Stand-alone endoscopy center used only by the employed group
- 15-20 patients per day
- Not an academic position, however if someone is open to teaching residents then they can likely coordinate a plan
- Can support J1 and H1B visas
