Parkville, MD

A well established and financially stable outpatient clinic located in the Parkville, MD Area is searching for PRN / Per Diem MRI Technologist . Clinic caters toward workers comp and personal injury / automobile accident clients. Organization is highly regarded in the tristate area and has been experiencing consistent growth over the past few years - plenty of opportunities for career growth!

Schedule is flexible depending on how many days / hours per week are desired, but the main need is for Saturday 8 : 00AM - 1 : 00PM . Clinic is open Monday - Friday 9 : 00AM - 6 : 00PM with the possibility of being scheduled one hour before or after patient hours.

Benefits and Compensation for the MRI Technologist :

  • Competitive rates ranging from about $47.00 - $55.00 per hour depending on years of experience and qualifications
  • Pro-rated PTO and other benefits offered if transitioned to full time or part time in the future

Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist :

  • Perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures on up to 20 patients per day as prescribed by a provider.
  • Determine if there are any contradictions to the patient entering a magnetic field, prepare patient for exam, assist in the procedure, etc.
  • Assist provider in reporting the proper diagnosis.

    • Requirements of the MRI Technologist :

  • BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced Cert
  • Recently certified individuals will be considered, but ideally 1-2 years of prior experience as an MRI Technologist is required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a HUGE plus!
