We’re looking for an experienced back-end developer with the software engineering skills it takes to identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients.

As a back-end developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to deliver solutions.

Using your software engineering experience, you’ll work with the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability.

You Have :

• Experience with using the Unix command line
• Experience with writing scripts using Bash and Python
• Experience with performing Unix System Administration, including installation, configuration, and support of COTS, GOTS, and FOSS software, file, network, and storage systems
• Experience with Software Architecture and Engineering in software design, code development, and debugging in C / C++
• Experience with HPC open source tools, including OpenCL and parallel programming language tools
• Experience with performing benchmarking and system testing in a large Unix environment
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts, principles, and automation tools, including SaltStack and Ansible
• Knowledge of general HPC technical fundamentals regarding compute, network, memory, and storage components
• TS / SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have :

• Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker
• Experience with Unix cluster and node monitoring tools, including Node Health Check (NHC) and Nagios XI
• Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools, including Jira, Confluence, or Bitbucket
• Knowledge of InfiniBand network communications
• Knowledge of parallel file systems, including Lustre
• Ability to develop, debug, and test applications based upon design and performance requirements

TS / SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
