Our St. Lukes Cancer Institute (SLCI) clinics are dynamic, full-service outpatient hematology / oncology treatment centers offering chemo / bio / and radiation therapies. Today we are a network of five cancer centers dedicated to state-of-the-art treatment close to home; patient-centered care and support; cutting-edge research; and community prevention, education, and early detection initiatives. St. Lukes holds a Commission on Cancer (CoC) cancer program accreditation - this is a quality program of the American College of Surgeons which demonstrates a cancer programs commitment to providing high-quality, multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care.

What You Can Expect From This Role

• The Clinical Oncology Triage RN is responsible for prioritizing walk-in and telephone triage encounters to address presenting symptoms with focused assessments, management, patient teaching, and coordination of patient care needs, in consultation with providers, key team members, and outside health associates, i.e., insurance, pharmacies, etc. who are involved with the patient's plan of care
• This position will cross-train in another area within the clinic for coverage purposes
• Part-time : 0.8 FTE (64 hours per pay period)
• 8-hour shift, variable days (M-F)
• No weekends or St. Lukes recognized holidays
• Certification pay (ex. OCN)
