Out of School Learning (OSL) Site Coordinator

Family & Children's Place of Louisville, KY is looking to hire a part -time OSL Site Coordinator at Hazelwood Middle School, New Albany, IN.

This position earns competitive pay of $17.51 an hour and a sign on bonus of $300 . The shift is 3 : 30 to 6 : 00 Monday through Thursday at Hazelwood for about 8 hours / week.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN OSL SITE COORDINATOR

As an OSL Site Coordinator in youth and family services, you play an essential role in contributing to the education of our clients.

You provide services, including homework assistance as well as planning and leading group activities that are intended to improve academic performance and social development.

As you get to know your students, you document both their academic and behavioral progress. You communicate any areas of concern to your site supervisor and ensure your students receive the help they need.

In addition, you document and submit all pertinent paperwork before the required deadlines, including client program attendance, client advocacy, client surveys, and assessments as well as the employee Daily Service Activity (DSA) report and timesheet.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN OSL SITE COORDINATOR

  • Experience with providing direct services to youth
  • Prefer two years of study at the college level related to social work, education, science, technology, engineering, or math but experience with youth can be substituted
  • Ability to appropriately relate and respond to culturally and ethnically diverse population
  • Proficiency in middle school-level math, including algebra and geometry, is helpful.
