Job Description
Torch Technologies is currently seeking an experienced system engineer / analyst with the ability to support Missile Defense System assessments in a team-focused environment on Redstone Arsenal.
- This position requires collaboration with personnel from two Torch-led organizations : Collaborative Test and Evaluation Center (CTEC) and Sensors Collaborative Test and Evaluation Center (SCTEC).
- The position consists of performing algorithm testing, data generation, modeling and simulation, and analysis in support of Missile Defense Agency initiatives.
- Support includes evaluation of active / passive sensor performance, data fusion, multi-sensor tracking and target discrimination algorithms, system-level command and control algorithms, and missile defense battle management techniques.
Job Requirements
- B.S., M.S., and / or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- 15-20 years of related experience
- Proficiency with MATLAB, C++, or other programming languages
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Demonstrated ability and interest in solving complex technical problems
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative environment

- Target tracking and trajectory estimation
- Analysis of optical and / or RF target signatures
- Analysis of command and control systems
