Position Summary :
Utilizing broad-based skills in basic patient care, ancillary services, and business office practices, provides assistance to providers in accordance with PNHS standard and policies.
Education / Experience :
Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
One or more years of experience desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine).
Special Knowledge / Skills / Certifications / Licenses :
Strong clinical and human relations skills. Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, and maintains standards of clinical skills and professional ethics as established by the AAMA.
Basic computer / keyboarding / mouse skills required. Demonstrates knowledge of age related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and ensure safety of patients.
BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.

We are looking for an EMT to join our SmartCare Team! SmartCare is strong team based, primary care clinic that provides care to patients from 0-99+ years of age.
This role will have the opportunity to work within a small clinic environment that focuses on providing value based care with welcoming and diverse patients and team members!
- This role is for a 1.0- can be either 8 or 10 hour shifts. Occasional Saturday (8am-12pm), No holidays!
- Clinic hours are from 7am-5 : 30pm Monday- Thursday and 7am-5pm Friday. Hours are flexible for this role
