A company is looking for a Long Term Disability Claims Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expertise in reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, processing, and adjudicating Long Term Disability claims
Communicate ongoing status and decisions both in writing and verbally
Authorize appropriate payments or refer claims for validation of adverse or over limit approvals
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
Must be 18 years of age or older
1+ years of experience with Long Term Disability claims, including initial liability determinations and issuing monthly payments
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday, with potential for occasional overtime or weekends
